The studio's build practice for tools, platforms, and the connective tissue between practices. Mesh-shaped because the products talk to each other — not one monolithic platform with everything inside, but a network of focused products that compose. Years of implicit work, retroactively named.
The studio's digital work has always been mesh-shaped rather than centralized. PR0J.co is a production OS for studio work. MR-KT.com is a curated creative directory. CHANNEL is a broadcast-station-in-a-box. modernmotiongraphics.com is an education platform. Each is a focused product. None tries to be everything. They share design judgment and editorial register; they don't share a single backend.
This is opposite to the prevailing 2026 SaaS architecture, where every product wants to be your operating system, your file system, your social network, and your AI assistant simultaneously. The studio's bet: focused tools that compose via standard interfaces beat monolithic platforms that try to do everything. The studio's design judgment + editorial taste + AI-assisted development = digital products that punch above their weight versus the deluge of generic vibe-coded SaaS.
Six products at various stages of maturity. PR0J.co is the most mature (years of operation). MR-KT.com post-launch. The others at various states of development or live operation.
The inaugural new MESH product after the retroactive documentation phase. Built in partnership with MHYC: Svelte frontend + Mapbox + Ghost API for editorial content + vector embeddings for candidate matching + human editorial confirmation as the final filter. ~2–3 week developer sprint when MHYC has enough editorial corpus to power the matching.
MESH is the build practice. MHYC is the research counterpart at the same scale of the studio's catalogue. MESH also serves all other studio practices via shared infrastructure — every subdomain in the catalogue runs on MESH-built stack.
