§ 01 The thesis

Small spaces
that ship.

BXBX.Space is the productized side of the studio. Every catalogue model is sized to a piece of logistics infrastructure that already exists — a U-Haul U-Box, a cargo van, a 10-foot rental truck, a 20-foot cube. The customer buys the BXBX. The customer rents or owns the vehicle. The hard problem of moving a building, already solved by an industry that does nothing else.

Three tiers per model: Plans (you build), Kit (we cut + ship), Build (turnkey, currently Toronto only). The lowest tier ships nationally today. The highest tier ships when geography permits.

No custom work. Each model is a SKU. The catalogue is the asset.

Sized to vehicles, not to ambitions. Logistics already solved by an industry that does nothing else.

§ 06 Flagship · BXBX-005 Hako

One dwelling.
Four contexts.

Hako is the catalogue's flagship — one modular dwelling designed for four deployment contexts. Off-grid bush land. Overland trailered via U-Haul network. Burning Man / festival / large temporary event. Urban stealth in a Toronto laneway. The dedicated Hako deck goes one frame deep on each.

§ 07 The micro-store · launch roadmap

Plans store
opens summer 2026.

The first BXBX.Space commercial launches are digital plans for two models — sold direct, downloaded immediately, customer self-builds. The store grows from there as catalogue models clear engineering review.

Each wave validates the next. Plans before kit. Kit before build. Drop a wishlist note at studio@bxbx.studio.

§ 08 First product · BXBX-009 Dome

Dome.
The first SKU.

A 10-foot 3V geodesic dome. Three tiers — Plans ($95), Kit ($1,400), Build ($2,800). The catalogue's most fully realized model: built precedent (PF-01 in the laneway, PF-06 on a Toronto rooftop), refined geometry, repeatable cut list.

Sized to fit through a standard doorway (struts disassemble for transit). Kid-climbable. Standalone art object or pavilion. The shipping-anywhere SKU that demonstrates the catalogue's discipline.

§ 09 The built precedent

Every model has a portfolio piece.

Nothing enters the catalogue without a built study first. PF-04 Microcave anchors AT-02. PF-01 + PF-06 anchor BXBX-009. PF-02 + PF-03 anchor PF cardboard work. The portfolio is the proof. The catalogue is the productization.

§ 10 Geography of the catalogue

Plans anywhere.
Kits in North America.
Builds in Toronto.

Plans ship anywhere there is internet and a printer. Buy from Toronto, Tokyo, Tbilisi. Same product. Same price.

Kits ship anywhere commodity freight ships. Currently North America (Canada + US continental). International kit shipping comes later as freight costs and customs friction are solved.

Builds currently happen in Toronto + GTA only, via BXBX.Laneway. Expansion happens through partner-builder licensing — regional fabricators in target markets cut and assemble against our drawings, take their margin, deliver turnkey.

Geography is a strategy decision, not a brand decision. Buy what fits your location. Tier 1 anywhere. Tier 3 Toronto-only for now.
