BXBX.Space is the productized side of the studio. Every catalogue model is sized to a piece of logistics infrastructure that already exists — a U-Haul U-Box, a cargo van, a 10-foot rental truck, a 20-foot cube. The customer buys the BXBX. The customer rents or owns the vehicle. The hard problem of moving a building, already solved by an industry that does nothing else.
Three tiers per model: Plans (you build), Kit (we cut + ship), Build (turnkey, currently Toronto only). The lowest tier ships nationally today. The highest tier ships when geography permits.
No custom work. Each model is a SKU. The catalogue is the asset.
The ten catalogue models span everything from a flat-rate-mailable storage SKU at $185 to a finished modular dwelling at $19,500 turnkey.
Every catalogue model is offered at three engagement tiers. Customer picks the right one for their geography, skill, and budget.
Digital PDF + DWG + material sourcing guide. You source materials. You build. Ships nationally and internationally — it's a download.
Lumber cut to length, hinges, hardware, fasteners, glue, finishes shipped flat-pack via commodity freight. Customer assembles.
BXBX.Laneway delivers the finished unit, currently Toronto + GTA only. Will expand as the studio licenses production to partners.
Hako is the catalogue's flagship — one modular dwelling designed for four deployment contexts. Off-grid bush land. Overland trailered via U-Haul network. Burning Man / festival / large temporary event. Urban stealth in a Toronto laneway. The dedicated Hako deck goes one frame deep on each.
The first BXBX.Space commercial launches are digital plans for two models — sold direct, downloaded immediately, customer self-builds. The store grows from there as catalogue models clear engineering review.
PLANS-009 Dome ($95) and PLANS-010B Stack-Wall ($480) launch first. Both are mature designs with built portfolio precedent. PDF + DWG + cut list + sourcing guide.
PLANS-005 Hako Base configuration ($1,850). Five-config upgrade kits as separate SKUs. Requires v1 engineered prototype build complete + photographed first.
PLANS-006 Yado-S, PLANS-003 Tabi. First Kit-tier SKUs launch — Dome kit ($1,400), Stack-Wall kit ($480), Hako kit ($8,500).
International plans shipping (digital, no friction). Partner-builder network for Tier 3 turnkey expansion beyond Toronto. License agreements with regional fabricators.
Nothing enters the catalogue without a built study first. PF-04 Microcave anchors AT-02. PF-01 + PF-06 anchor BXBX-009. PF-02 + PF-03 anchor PF cardboard work. The portfolio is the proof. The catalogue is the productization.
Plans ship anywhere there is internet and a printer. Buy from Toronto, Tokyo, Tbilisi. Same product. Same price.
Kits ship anywhere commodity freight ships. Currently North America (Canada + US continental). International kit shipping comes later as freight costs and customs friction are solved.
Builds currently happen in Toronto + GTA only, via BXBX.Laneway. Expansion happens through partner-builder licensing — regional fabricators in target markets cut and assemble against our drawings, take their margin, deliver turnkey.
BXBX-009 Dome plans + drawings + sourcing guide. $95 CAD. Digital delivery. Self-build at home.
BXBX-010 Stack-Wall plans. $480 CAD. Cardboard storage system, vertical wall variant. Digital delivery.
